The Expo / Food Runner plays a key role in ensuring smooth kitchen-to-table service by coordinating food presentation, accuracy, and timely delivery. This position supports both front- and back-of-house teams to provide guests with a high-quality dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain clean, organized, and safe service areas, including aisles, expo stations, and dining tables, throughout service.

• Package food efficiently and safely using appropriate containers to prevent spills, mixing, or damage during transport or delivery.

• Perform regular inventory counts of packaging and service materials, including boxes, bags, disposable utensils, napkins, sauces, drink containers, and cutlery.

• Monitor inventory levels and notify the purchasing manager or supervisor when supplies are running low.

• Verify order accuracy before leaving the kitchen, ensuring dishes match tickets, presentation standards, and any special requests or allergy modifications.

• Deliver food to tables promptly and place dishes in an orderly, professional manner so each guest receives the correct meal.

• Ensure guests have access to necessary condiments, utensils, and accompaniments as needed.

• Communicate clearly with kitchen and service staff to maintain efficient workflow and guest satisfaction.
